Prospective New Members
Membership in Kiwanis requires that you have a sponsor, a member of the club that will help you navigate the application process and serves as your mentor until you are up to speed on club activities. Prospective members are required to attend three weekly meetings, one board meeting and help with a service project. If you are interested in joining Kiwanis, please email the membership chairperson.

ST. BERNARD KIWANIS RECOGNIZES THEIR SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
The St. Bernard-Arabi Kiwanis Club and Foundation hosted their scholarship recipients at its weekly club meeting in May. Recipients of St. Bernard –Arab Kiwanis Club- James R. Bienvenue and St. Bernard Kiwanis Foundation Scholarships attended the meeting.
TERRIFIC KIDS
Terrific Kids is a student recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem, and perseverance. Students work with their classroom teacher and establish goals to improve behavior, peer relationships, attendance, or schoolwork. Students then work toward achieving the goal during a specific time period. The teachers and principal determine the best schedule for recognition.
